Medical/Surgical - Telemetry RN

Role

Travel RN for a Medical Surgical Unit with 1 opening.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule

36 guaranteed hours per week
Every other weekend, as needed
Call as needed
May require travel within a 25-mile radius of the facility

41 beds
Patient ratio: 1:4
Serves all ages

Experience / Skills

Critical thinking
Decisive judgment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Flexibility in scheduling
Ability to work all shift patterns, including weekends and holidays

Clinical Context

Common diagnoses/treatments include post-op orthopedic procedures and total joints
