Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular RN

Overview

Contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii
Unit: Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular
13-week contract
Day shifts with varied times
8 or 10 hour shifts
40 hours per week
Required to take call, including holidays
Call schedule: 1–2 days per week, about every 2–3 weeks
4-person call team
Labs: 2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
Basic understanding of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
Ability to apply specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers, and IABP insertion
Ability to apply specialized skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring
Basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing

Scheduling Note

Must arrive the Thursday before start in order to attend employee health appointment on Friday
