Assignment Details

• Travel/Contract
• Day shift, 3x12 hours: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Hybrid PCU/MS unit
• 1:7 ratios when working MS
• No call
• Rotating weekends
• 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• AHA ACLS
• NIH
• Tele experience
• 3 references preferred

Additional Notes

• General orientation begins on Sundays
• The schedule may be 36/36 or 36/48 depending on the employment agreement
• One shift may be canceled or called off biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
• Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census or resource changes
• The role includes participation in nursing student support and clinical education
