Stepdown Cardiac

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Arlington, Virginia.
Cardiovascular Unit: CV Stepdown/Tele.
This unit cares for cardiac surgery patients after ICU.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hours.
Every other weekend.
Duration: 13 weeks.
ASAP start, dependent on EPIC experience/training schedule.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia.
Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience).
Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year.
ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience working with Cardiac Surgery patients.
Experience managing chest tubes.
Experience managing dysrhythmia.
Telemetry experience.

Preferred

BLS is listed as preferred, not required, for SPTs.

Additional Notes

COVID: possible.
Flu vaccine is required during flu season.
EPIC training/class assignment depends on prior EPIC experience.
