Oncology RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: 11/16
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day or Night, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Weekend work required
- Floating within the hospital is required
- Locals accepted
- First-timers not preferred
- Pending license not accepted
- RTO limit: 1 week max
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Blood product administration experience
- Experience with central lines, tunneled and non-tunneled ports
- Chemotherapy symptom management experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- OCN
Unit Notes
- Most patients are receiving chemotherapy and many are neutropenic
- Unexpected admissions are typically for neutropenic fevers

- Scrubs provided for OR personnel
- Parking costs $10.26 daily
