Respiratory Therapist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital
• Location: Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (Pocono Mountains)
• Start Dates: August 25, 2025 or September 2, 2025
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45pm – 7:15am)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week (3 shifts per week)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1940 - $2300

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based RRT experience
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document all patient care activities and respiratory interventions
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and deliver critical respiratory support as needed
