Weekly Salary Range: $2,370 - $2,430 per week

Location: Albany, NY (12208) – New York healthcare jobs
Setting: Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Tech position
Start Date: September 15, 2025
End Date: November 5, 2025
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
Call Commitment: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month

Cath Lab Tech Qualifications

Associate Degree or graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Training Program or Allied Health Program
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiovascular specialty or cath lab jobs
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic examinations under the supervision of an Interventional Cardiologist during invasive and noninvasive cardiology procedures
Collect and record patient data to assist in establishing anatomical and physiological diagnoses
Support peripheral vascular study procedures and clinical support as needed
Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care throughout all procedures
Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
