Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,490 - $2,670 per week

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program
High School Diploma or equivalent
Registered Technologist (R) (M) license
Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) compliance
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography (required within 2 years from hire)
2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
1 year of experience in Mammography (preferred)

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Perform medical mammograms to assist in disease or trauma diagnosis
Program and operate mammography equipment for optimal imaging quality
Maintain and follow radiation safety guidelines in all procedures
Document and perform all QA/QC tests as required by MQSA standards
Provide mobile mammography services, including weekend shifts as needed
Ensure compliance and quality standards when assigned to the mobile unit
