• Facility Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/16/2025, End: 2/14/2026)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8 Hour Days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: One night per week and one weekend per month

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RT(R) (Registered Technologist, Radiography) certification preferred
• Skilled in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating cardiac and vascular procedures
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation for Cath Lab coverage
• Must reside at least 50 miles from Albany, NY hospital (no local travelers)
• Required vaccinations and health screenings for onboarding: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, and 10 Panel Drug Screen
• Background check and education verification required

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac and vascular procedures by scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
• Deliver clinical support to physicians and nursing staff in the Cath Lab
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with hospital protocols
• Ensure adherence to hospital safety standards and best practices in clinical care
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation for Cath Lab coverage
