Mammography Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
Current ARRT (R)(M) certification required
No state license required for Pennsylvania mammography jobs
PA fingerprinting required at time of booking
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures following established clinical protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during all radiologic procedures
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot mammography equipment as needed
Comply with all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards in a clinical setting
