Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Location: Wilkes Barre, PA 18764 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
Setting: Hospital – inpatient, outpatient, and ER coverage
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist, On-Site
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2260-$2430

MRI Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1.5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification
BLS and CPR certifications
Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment preferred
Graduation from an accredited AMA school and state radiographer license preferred

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans for hospital inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients following Radiologist and departmental protocols
Adjust imaging parameters for soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media
Deliver timely and accurate medical imaging services
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout MRI procedures
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
