• Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Hospital
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• Contract Length: 13-week contract
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; includes 2-3 call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Employment Type: Local, On-Site Surgical Technologist job
• Hourly Pay Rate: $83.70
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1830 - $1970

Surgical Technologist Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA certification required)
• Active New Jersey Surgical Technologist license
• COVID-19 vaccination with at least 1 booster
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience in healthcare settings
• Proven experience scrubbing open heart surgeries
• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience at a Level 1 Trauma facility required

CVOR Surgical Tech Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in cardiovascular and open heart procedures as a key member of the operating room team
• Maintain sterile field and ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are prepared
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to deliver top-quality patient care
• Participate in scheduled call shifts
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards
• Support the healthcare team in a high-acuity, fast-paced trauma environment
