Job Details

• Position: Travel CT Technologist / Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
• Facility: A leading hospital in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood
• Location: Oakland, Pittsburgh – Pittsburgh CT jobs / Pennsylvania travel CT
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 12, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,243 – $2,493
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days (7:00am–7:00pm or 11:00am–11:00pm; mixed daylight/evening)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Rotation: Every other or every third weekend (based on department needs)
• Openings: 3 CT technologist positions available

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with CT experience preferred.
• ARRT (R) with CT credential or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTCB)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
• Pennsylvania clearances: ACT 33 and ACT 73
• Experience operating GE CT scanners and proficiency with CT protocols
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, contrast administration, and patient monitoring
• Excellent patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills in a hospital radiology setting
• Familiarity with EHR / PACS documentation and maintaining accurate exam records

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists
• Operate GE CT equipment, set and verify imaging protocols, and adhere to radiation safety standards
• Prepare and position patients, verify orders and patient identifiers, explain procedures, and monitor patient comfort and safety
• Administer contrast media per facility policy and accurately document contrast administration
• Exercise independent technical judgment during CT exams and escalate clinically significant findings to radiology staff
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and allied health staff to support timely diagnosis and quality patient care
• Maintain accurate exam documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and PACS
• Participate in scheduled evening and weekend coverage as required for hospital radiology operations
