CT Technologist Requirements (Travel Healthcare)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience (must be clearly shown on resume)
• Certification: Active CT certification (must be clearly shown on resume)
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital/inpatient environment with changing priorities
• Strong knowledge of CT protocols, image quality standards, and radiation safety practices
• Excellent patient communication skills, including comfort working with acutely ill patients
• Reliable documentation and attention to detail throughout the diagnostic imaging workflow

Key Responsibilities – Hospital CT Tech

• Perform diagnostic CT exams in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards
• Verify orders, confirm patient identity, and obtain relevant clinical history prior to scanning
• Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality and patient comfort
• Operate CT equipment and associated software to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention practices at all times
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and the care team to support timely inpatient care
• Document exam details accurately in the appropriate systems and escalate concerns as needed
