CT Technologist Job Details

• Healthcare Setting: Hospital
• Location: Leonardtown, MD 20650 (Southern Maryland)
• Shifts: Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am (until May 25); Friday–Sunday, 7:00pm–7:00am; Saturday–Monday, 11:00am–11:30pm (possible)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare job
• No call or float required

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800–$1930

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Active Maryland (MD) radiologic technologist license or compact license (preferred in hand at time of application)
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment, emergency department, and various CT procedures preferred
• Ability to work with adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
• Two supervisor references required

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans for trauma, emergency, and routine studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Ensure radiation safety and proper use of PPE and isolation precautions
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, etc.)
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families
