Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' MRI technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital or comparable acute care setting
• Experience operating Siemens 1.5T or 3T MRI systems (Aera, Sola, Skyra, Vida)
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI specialty training program
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong patient-focused bedside manner and proven ability to follow hospital MRI safety protocols

Core Responsibilities — MRI Technologist Duties

• Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders, hospital protocols, and imaging best practices
• Operate Siemens 1.5T/3T MRI equipment safely and efficiently, including patient positioning and sequence selection
• Monitor and ensure patient safety, screening for contraindications and addressing patient comfort and communication
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support diagnostic imaging workflows
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and QA logs in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines, infection control policies, and trauma-hospital protocols
