• Setting: Acute care Hospital (inpatient respiratory therapy)
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night shift RRT)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

• Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,890 - $2,030

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused skills
• Current BLS certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and/or pediatric patients in a hospital environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory therapy interventions
• Deliver and manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medication treatments
• Perform airway management, suctioning, and monitor ventilator settings and patient response
• Obtain and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and adjust therapies as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records
• Participate in emergency response situations and code team activities as needed
