CT Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT tech experience in adult outpatient and acute care settings (computed tomography / CT imaging)
- Current ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment required; experience with GE, Philips, Toshiba preferred
- Proficiency in Cerner charting system preferred
- Experience preparing and administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
- Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging desirable
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans and CT imaging procedures for adult outpatient and acute care patients
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens CT equipment; ensure accurate technical parameters and image quality
- Prepare, administer, and document contrast media per hospital policy
- Start peripheral IVs, follow isolation precautions, and use appropriate PPE
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and radiology staff
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in Cerner and other electronic medical records
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to hospital policies and radiation safety protocols
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients
