CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT tech experience in adult outpatient and acute care settings (computed tomography / CT imaging)
• Current ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment required; experience with GE, Philips, Toshiba preferred
• Proficiency in Cerner charting system preferred
• Experience preparing and administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging desirable
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and CT imaging procedures for adult outpatient and acute care patients
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens CT equipment; ensure accurate technical parameters and image quality
• Prepare, administer, and document contrast media per hospital policy
• Start peripheral IVs, follow isolation precautions, and use appropriate PPE
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and radiology staff
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Cerner and other electronic medical records
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to hospital policies and radiation safety protocols
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients
