Job Details – Cath Lab Tech Travel Job

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 – $2,650 (competitive travel pay)
Location: Waterbury, CT 06706 — Connecticut travel healthcare opportunity
Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiac Catheterization Lab (interventional cardiology)
Contract Duration: 17 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
Shift: 8-hour days (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM)
Employment Type: Travel, On-Site
On-Call Rotation: Based on unit needs, including every third weekend and two weekdays

Required Qualifications – Cath Lab Technologist (RT(R) / RCIS)

Minimum 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) in a cardiac cath environment
Valid credential: RT(R) or RCIS required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotation
Compliance with onboarding requirements: health screenings, background checks, skills checklist, etc.

Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Assist interventional cardiologists and physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate and maintain specialized Cath Lab equipment (fluoroscopy, monitoring systems, hemodynamic equipment)
Monitor patient status, assist with patient prep and positioning, and provide intra-procedural care
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, device usage, contrast administration, and patient records
Support sterile technique and procedural safety; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care
Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as required
