Radiation Therapist – Philadelphia, PA. ARRT-certified Radiation Therapist with 2+ years' experience required. 13-week hospital contract; temp-to-perm opportunity.

Join a dynamic radiation oncology team in the heart of Philadelphia as a Radiation Therapist. This 13-week hospital contract (full-time, part-time, or PRN) offers flexible scheduling and the potential to transition to a permanent role. You will provide patient-centered radiation therapy across multiple state-of-the-art hospital locations and advance your clinical skills working with experienced radiation oncology professionals.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (potential for extension or temp-to-perm)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM)
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Locations: PCAM, PAH, and PPMC (must be able to report to any location)
• Setting: Hospital (radiation oncology / radiation therapy)
• On-site Position

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Radiation Therapy or Radiation Oncology
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Radiation Therapy certification required
• Experience with Proton Therapy and/or CT simulation (CT/SIMS) is a strong plus
• Ability to travel and work across multiple hospital locations within the health system
• Strong patient communication skills and commitment to patient safety

Key Responsibilities (Radiation Therapist / Radiation Technologist)

• Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments in a hospital radiation oncology setting
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Provide training and collaborate with an experienced Radiation Technologist for machine-specific operations
• Perform CT simulation (CT/SIMs), setup, immobilization, and positioning for treatment
• Support proton therapy procedures when applicable and follow protocol for advanced modalities
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation, logs, and adhere to hospital and regulatory protocols (safety, radiation protection)
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout treatment sessions
• Adapt to varying schedules and locations as needed to support hospital staffing and patient needs
