Job Details

• Location: Scranton, PA (Northeastern Pennsylvania) — zip code 18510
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240 – $2,400
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
• Setting: Hospital – CT Scan Unit (inpatient/outpatient imaging)
• Shift: 3 × 12-hour evening shifts (10:30am – 11:00pm), 36 hours/week
• Weekend Rotation: Evenings Saturday/Sunday, plus a rotating weekday (Monday or Friday)
• Call: Minimal call required (3–4 hours before or after shift); optional weekend call every 5th weekend (7pm–7am)
• Holiday Requirements: Memorial Day

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist / CT Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• CT certification required (ARRT (CT) preferred)
• Experience operating Siemens CT equipment (Definition AS+, X.cite, Go.top)
• Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and participate in minimal call rotation
• Strong communication, patient-centered care, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies and ensure diagnostic image quality using Siemens CT systems
• Operate CT scanners safely and follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Collaborate with radiologists, radiology techs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and proper identification during CT procedures
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and department protocols
• Participate in evening and weekend shift rotations and minimal on-call duties as scheduled
