Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,690 – $2,890 (competitive travel pay)
• Location: Danville, PA 17822 (Susquehanna Valley) — Pennsylvania travel job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 21, 2026)
• Shift: 5 × 8-hour day shifts (variable start times 6:30am–7:30am), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: 1–2 weeknights per week (5pm–7am) and every 4th weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab or interventional cardiology setting
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
• Technologist certification (Cardiovascular Technologist / Cath Lab Technologist)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
• Familiarity with interventional cardiology procedures, structural heart cases, and cath lab equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to physicians and the interventional cardiology team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and structural heart procedures
• Deliver direct patient care during procedures, including preparing sterile fields, monitoring vitals, and managing hemostasis post-procedure
• Operate and maintain cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Assist with device setup and support for interventional tools (stents, balloons, closure devices) and electrophysiology cases as needed
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and institutional policies while ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations, weekend coverage, and holiday staffing per assignment requirements
