Job Details

• Location: Bel Air, Maryland (Bel Air, MD 21014) — Maryland cath lab jobs / Harford County
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 05/04/2026
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour days (06:30 – 19:00), with on-call and weekend requirements
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,210 – $2,370
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
• On-Call: Required (approx. 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts per 6-week schedule)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent, strong Cath Lab experience (cardiac catheterization, PCI, PTCA)
• Active MD or Compact State License (valid for Maryland travel jobs)
• ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must provide 2 satisfactory professional references (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN)
• Willingness to float within hospital as needed
• Local candidates must reside 50+ miles from facility to qualify

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), PTCA, and coronary stent placement
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialized cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment
• Monitor and interpret ECGs, recognize dysrhythmias and life-threatening arrhythmias; initiate appropriate interventions
• Maintain sterile field and serve as scrub tech during procedures; ensure sterile technique and PPE compliance
• Participate in on-call rotation covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and pharmacy to optimize patient care
• Adhere to infection control, isolation precautions, and hospital safety protocols
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed (cross-training and flexibility expected)
