Travel CT Technologist Job Details
- Location: Baltimore, MD 21218 (hospital setting)
- Role: CT Technologist / CT Tech / Computed Tomography Technologist (Travel Contract)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (W2 travel contract)
- Start Date: June 29, 2026 • End Date: September 28, 2026
- Shift: Day shifts — options for 2x12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sat-Sun, 24 hrs/week) or 2x16-hour (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Sat-Sun, 32 hrs/week)
- Weekly Hours: 24 or 32 (depending on shift selection)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,930
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (W2) — On-site hospital position
Required Qualifications – CT Tech / ARRT
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT technologist experience in a hospital setting (adult acute and outpatient)
- Current ARRT® (R) certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Maryland state license in hand at time of submission
- Required experience with Siemens CT equipment; experience with GE, Philips, Toshiba preferred
- Proficiency with PACS and Cerner charting systems
- Clinical skills in Abdomen, Chest, Head CT (with/without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- Experience preparing/administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Two supervisory references verifying at least 2 years of recent CT experience (within last 3 years)
Key Responsibilities – Hospital CT Technologist
- Perform high-quality CT scans for adult acute and outpatient patients following hospital protocols
- Operate Siemens CT systems (and other available vendors) to produce diagnostic images
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely according to policy and patient history
- Start peripheral IVs and maintain patient safety, monitoring, and communication throughout procedures
- Document exams accurately in Cerner and store images in PACS
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, IV teams, PT, RT, and radiology staff
- Adhere to infection control, PPE, and isolation precautions
- Complete facility orientation and required modules prior to start date
