Position Overview
Join a dynamic hospital-based radiology team as a Computed Tomography Technologist. This travel CT technologist role (travel CT tech job) is a 13-week hospital assignment in Baltimore, Maryland (zip code 21218) working with adult acute care and outpatient populations on Siemens CT equipment. Ideal candidates have strong CT imaging skills, IV/contrast experience, and familiarity with PACS and Cerner.

- Location: Baltimore, MD 21218 (Baltimore CT jobs / Maryland radiology jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
- Shifts (Flexible):
- Day Shift: 2x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sat–Sun only, 24 hrs/week)
- OR Day Shift: 4x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 32 hrs/week)
- OR Extended: 32 hours/week (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM, if more hours desired)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,930
- Setting: Hospital – Adult Acute Care & Outpatient (On-site)
- Candidate Type: Travel CT Technologist or local CT Tech within 60 miles
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting (CT tech, computed tomography technologist)
- Active ARRT (R) certification
- Maryland State Radiologic Technologist License (must be in hand at submission)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment required; GE, Philips, Toshiba experience preferred
- Proficiency with PACS and Cerner electronic charting systems
- Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media (contrast administration experience)
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Strong patient communication, safety, and infection control practices
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans for adult acute care and outpatient patients (CT imaging, diagnostic imaging)
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens CT scanners; support multi-vendor environments when needed
- Prepare, calculate, and administer contrast media; monitor patients for reactions
- Start peripheral IVs and provide patient assessment during procedures
- Manage images in PACS and document procedures in Cerner accurately and timely
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and isolation precautions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, respiratory therapy, and physical therapy
- Participate in orientation, competency validation, and required facility learning modules
