Job Details

• Position: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist (Travel)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Setting: Hospital (on-site)
• Shift: 12-hour nights — Saturday–Monday (12:00pm–12:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 – $2,080
• Call: Not required for agency workers

Required Qualifications

• ARRT(R) registration required (Radiologic Technologist / CT certification preferred)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience (2 years of radiology experience preferred)
• Experience with GE CT scanners (CT580W Wide Bore 16-slice and Optima 64-slice) preferred
• Ability to start IVs independently and perform contrast injections
• Comfort working independently overnight and in a fast-paced hospital radiology department
• Strong technical skills across CT and general radiography modalities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging examinations and intravenous contrast injections following hospital and radiology protocols
• Prepare CT equipment and scanning rooms; perform routine quality control testing and documentation for CT systems
• Operate and maintain GE CT scanners, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and report maintenance needs
• Ensure radiation safety and ALARA practices for patients, staff, and the public
• Provide patient preparation and education regarding CT procedures and contrast administration
• Transport or escort patients to and from the CT area as needed and assist with patient positioning
• Perform general radiographic examinations when required and document all patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain professional competencies and comply with departmental, state, and federal regulations
• Demonstrate teamwork, compassion, and respect in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues
• Assist in training or precepting students, trainees, or new staff as requested
