• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (8-hour nights)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 – $1,940

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program (required)
• Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or certification in at least one modality (ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS) – required
• Active Ohio state license or eligibility to obtain state licensure (required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a primary radiology modality; second modality orientation completion preferred
• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with CT scanners, PACS, EMR, and RIS systems
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently

Responsibilities

• Independently operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to perform diagnostic computed tomography exams
• Provide age-appropriate patient care from neonates through geriatrics in a hospital radiology environment
• Follow patient safety and radiation dose-reduction protocols (ALARA, Image Gently, Image Wisely)
• Perform and document equipment quality control, report malfunctions, and assist with maintenance coordination
• Accurately record and maintain required logs, patient records, and database entries for billing and compliance
• Assist with patient scheduling, throughput, and daily department workflow to support radiology operations
• Instruct and mentor students or new staff as needed within the imaging department
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain readiness for inspections
• Enter and verify correct billing/coding information to support departmental revenue cycle accuracy
• Other duties as assigned to support radiology and diagnostic imaging services
