CT Tech Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current CT Technologist / X-ray Technologist experience required
• Current agency experience preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License required
• Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Current CT Tech and X-Ray Tech skills checklists required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to assist with other duties within scope of practice during low census
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Perm address must be included in profile; candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal, written, and text-based formats

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of diagnostic radiology and CT scan procedures with independent judgment and critical thinking
• Carry out primary CT scanning and general radiology tasks, including IV insertion and injections
• Support accurate diagnosis by applying strong technical skills, attention to detail, and initiative
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications
• Maintain infection control standards and comply with OSHA and departmental policies
• Protect patient confidentiality at all times
• Complete annual mandatory education and maintain required departmental competencies
• Provide excellent communication and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
• Accept independent responsibilities or supervision/instruction duties as assigned by leadership
