Cath Lab Tech Job – Hospital Contract in Flemington, NJ

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,770-$2,980
• Location: Flemington, New Jersey
• Setting: Hospital Cath Lab / Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 4x10s with a flexible start time between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• On-Call: Preferred; up to 10 days per month, with an average of 6

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Tech or related cardiovascular procedural experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R) through ARRT required
• RCIS certification or cardiovascular invasive procedural experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a hospital environment, cardiovascular lab, or interventional radiology setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging, quality assurance, and radiation safety practices
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare the catheterization laboratory and equipment for scheduled procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic, interventional, and other Cath Lab procedures
• Function as a scrub assistant during invasive cardiovascular cases
• Serve as hemodynamic monitor and control room operator during procedures
• Produce high-quality radiographic imaging while maintaining radiation safety standards
• Review procedure documentation and patient records prior to cases
• Support patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and promoting a positive care experience
• Maintain accurate records of images, reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient procedural environment
