Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,080
Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
On-Call: 8 hours per pay period, every other Sunday
Weekend Coverage: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; one Sunday call shift per month, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Setting: Hospital-based imaging department
Patient Population: Adults
Charting System: Epic
First-Time Travelers: Welcome

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
Current ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification required
Current BLS certification required
Experience using Epic preferred
Ability to perform MRI exams safely and efficiently in a hospital environment
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care practices
Must be comfortable supporting a busy adult imaging workflow

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans for adult patients
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process clearly
Follow MRI safety standards and maintain a secure imaging environment
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal imaging results
Document procedures and maintain accurate charting in Epic
Work collaboratively with radiology and interdisciplinary support teams
Provide compassionate, professional care throughout each imaging encounter
Support on-call and scheduled coverage as outlined for the assignment
