Travel Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: 4 shifts per week; daytime hours rotate between 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, and 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Call Requirement: 1 day per week plus every 4th weekend, with additional call coverage as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,340–$2,510
• Start Date: 08/03/2026

Job Requirements

• 1+ year of radiology experience required; 2–3 years of Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Prior travel radiology experience preferred
• Neuro experience required
• Experience with runoff studies and angiography highly preferred
• ARRT or CCI certification required
• BLS required or must be obtained from an approved source prior to direct patient care
• ACLS preferred
• State licensure preferred, unless required by the state of practice
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment and stay within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with fluoroscopic, interventional radiology, and neuro-interventional procedures using sterile technique
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and help reduce patient anxiety
• Perform high-quality diagnostic and interventional vascular examinations
• Support procedures including biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, tunneled dialysis catheters, mediports, lumbar drains, nephrostomy tube insertion, tunneled PICC placement, biliary drains, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, sacroplasty, lumbar punctures, CAPD catheter placement, epidurals, PEG tube insertion, cerebral angiograms, coiling, carotid stenting, and more
• Document patient care, radiation exposure, and relevant clinical activity accurately in the electronic medical record
• Follow safety protocols, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure efficient case flow in a busy, high-volume setting
• Remain flexible for call, extended coverage, and changing procedural needs throughout the assignment
