- Setting: Hospital Cath Lab / Invasive Cardiovascular Services
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45211
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 4 x 10-hour day shifts (approximately 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM); schedule may vary based on department needs
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month, depending on department needs
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380-$2,550
- Case Mix: Adult cardiac and peripheral procedures, including carotid and hybrid cath lab/OR cases
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Travel experience preferred for this healthcare job
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification required
- ARRT credential and Ohio/ODH licensure required as applicable
- Ability to work confidently in scrub, monitor, and float/circulate roles
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, patient safety, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Comfort working in a high-acuity cardiovascular environment with call coverage responsibilities
- Dysrhythmia exam not required
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Perform duties across scrub, monitor, and float/circulate roles with professionalism and accuracy
- Collect, interpret, and document procedural and physiologic data
- Support moderate sedation under physician supervision when applicable
- Prepare, maintain, and operate cath lab equipment and digital imaging systems
- Administer medications, contrast, IV fluids, and IV access per policy and provider direction
- Maintain inventory, ensure proper charging, and support quality assurance efforts
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, age-appropriate patient care
- Participate in call coverage and adapt to department needs with flexibility
- Help precept new staff and students while contributing to a positive team culture
