- Setting: Hospital respiratory care / acute-care hospital
- Location: Cambridge, MA 02139
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,200
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Rotating shifts may include day, evening, and overnight coverage
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
- Work Environment: Independent coverage on shift in an acute-care hospital setting
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Active Massachusetts respiratory therapist license at the time of submission
- NBRC credential required at submission
- NRP certification required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in the specialty
- Acute care experience required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Must be able to work every other major holiday
- Updated resume, 2 recent manager or supervisor references, and a matching skills checklist required
- Driver's license with address matching demographics required
Responsibilities
- Provide independent respiratory therapy support during assigned shifts
- Perform patient assessments and deliver respiratory treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Support a professional, patient-centered environment while working rotating coverage
