  • Location: Cambridge, MA 02139
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,200
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
  • Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts may include day, evening, and overnight coverage
  • Start Date: August 31, 2026
  • Work Environment: Independent coverage on shift in an acute-care hospital setting

Job Requirements

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Active Massachusetts respiratory therapist license at the time of submission
  • NBRC credential required at submission
  • NRP certification required
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in the specialty
  • Acute care experience required
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Must be able to work every other major holiday
  • Updated resume, 2 recent manager or supervisor references, and a matching skills checklist required
  • Driver's license with address matching demographics required

Responsibilities

  • Provide independent respiratory therapy support during assigned shifts
  • Perform patient assessments and deliver respiratory treatments as ordered
  • Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
  • Support a professional, patient-centered environment while working rotating coverage
