CT Technologist (Travel Assignment) – Columbus, Ohio | Level I Trauma Hospital

Job Details

• Position: CT Technologist (Travel CT Tech)
• Setting: Hospital Radiology / Level I Trauma
• Location: Columbus, OH 43215
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday (18:00–06:30)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240–$2,400
• Charting System: Epic
• Equipment: GE and Toshiba/Cannon CT systems
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred; Level I Trauma experience highly valued
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
• Active Ohio radiologic technologist license or pending licensure accepted
• BLS certification required
• Graduation from an accredited radiography program
• Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon CT equipment preferred
• Epic charting experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and X-ray procedures in a busy hospital imaging department
• Prepare patients for exams and position them properly for diagnostic imaging
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards to protect patients, staff, and self
• Work efficiently in a high-volume radiology setting supporting adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Complete scans accurately while maintaining excellent patient care and workflow
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support timely diagnostics
• Adapt to weekend coverage, holiday coverage, and floating expectations as needed
