• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930-$2,080
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license required at time of submission
• BLS and NBRC required
• Experience with EPIC charting required
• PICU and NICU experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience supporting adult and pediatric critical care patients preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and NRP are highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients
• Perform blood gas analysis, ventilator management, and BiPAP/high-flow initiation and monitoring
• Support code response situations and emergency respiratory interventions
• Assist with in-house transports and medication administration as directed
• Deliver chest physiotherapy and other therapeutic respiratory treatments
• Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP systems
• Float within scope of practice and support patient care across assigned units as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote positive patient outcomes
