- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930-$2,080
- Orientation: 16 hours
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license required at time of submission
- BLS and NBRC required
- Experience with EPIC charting required
- PICU and NICU experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience supporting adult and pediatric critical care patients preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and NRP are highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients
- Perform blood gas analysis, ventilator management, and BiPAP/high-flow initiation and monitoring
- Support code response situations and emergency respiratory interventions
- Assist with in-house transports and medication administration as directed
- Deliver chest physiotherapy and other therapeutic respiratory treatments
- Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP systems
- Float within scope of practice and support patient care across assigned units as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote positive patient outcomes
