Job Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • NRP certification required
  • AHA ACLS preferred
  • Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs)
  • NICU/PICU experience required
  • Experience using EMR systems strongly preferred
  • At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory assessments, diagnostic testing, and prescribed treatments
  • Deliver safe, effective respiratory care to patients across the hospital
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate department records and clinical documentation
  • Support a responsive interdisciplinary care team in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Provide rapid triage support when needed and contribute to timely patient transfers
  • Assist with NICU and PICU respiratory support as clinically indicated
