• Schedule: Evenings, 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
• Shift Time: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital setting
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T MRI platforms, including Aera, Sola, Skyra, or Vida
• Current ARRT or AMRIT certification
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Strong patient care, patient positioning, and diagnostic imaging workflow skills
• Ability to work evening shifts and maintain accuracy in a busy hospital imaging department

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent patient comfort and care
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain exams clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnostics
• Follow safety standards, screening procedures, and MRI imaging best practices at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth workflow within the diagnostic imaging department
