Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist or PET imaging experience
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT certification required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Completion of an accredited radiology or nuclear medicine program required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with Siemens Biograph PET/CT and Siemens Ecam preferred
Strong knowledge of imaging procedures, quality control, and regulatory documentation

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine and PET scan imaging procedures
Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to imaging requirements and patient protocols
Conduct whole body, oncology, nuclear cardiology, GI, thyroid, and SPECT imaging
Perform pharmaceutical and instrument quality control to support accurate diagnostic imaging
Maintain accurate records and documentation for state and federal agencies
Support a collaborative healthcare team while delivering safe, compassionate patient care
Work independently while maintaining attention to detail, imaging accuracy, and patient safety
