Job Requirements

• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active Ohio state license in hand prior to submission
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
• CRT and HS/college diplomas or transcripts required
• Epic experience preferred
• Previous travel respiratory therapist experience preferred
• Experience with adult critical care and respiratory support procedures strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable working nights and weekends
• Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Perform and support treatments including aerosol therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support
• Assist with ABG interpretation, pulmonary hygiene, suctioning, airway management, and extubation support
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators
• Support patients with diagnoses such as COPD, asthma, and cancer-related respiratory needs
• Float as needed between campuses based on facility needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic charting system
• Deliver compassionate, team-oriented care in a fast-paced hospital environment
