CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma environment required
• Ability to work independently in a hospital imaging department
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Must be comfortable with advanced CT imaging procedures and contrast administration
• Valid state license or certification required at time of submission
• RTO must be provided at time of submission

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies in a busy hospital environment
• Support emergency, trauma, stroke, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs
• Operate advanced CT scanners and injector systems safely and efficiently
• Prepare and administer contrast media according to protocol
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and radiology staff to ensure timely imaging
• Document procedures accurately in Epic
• Adapt quickly to changing patient volumes and clinical priorities
