Job Requirements
- 3+ years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Current RRT credential required
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- NRP required for NICU coverage
- Experience in tertiary or teaching hospital settings strongly preferred
- Level I trauma experience preferred
- Comfort working in NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, adult acute care, and critical care
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work with EPIC and advanced respiratory equipment
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across varied inpatient assignments throughout the facility
- Support adult, pediatric, NICU, PICU, and emergency department patient populations as needed
- Perform respiratory care procedures and interventions in acute care and critical care settings
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Respond to call requirements as assigned and support oncoming shift coverage
- Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators, high-flow systems, and noninvasive devices
- Document accurately in EPIC and maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards
- Demonstrate adaptability while contributing to a supportive, patient-centered team
