Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of respiratory therapy experience required
  • Current RRT credential required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • NRP required for NICU coverage
  • Experience in tertiary or teaching hospital settings strongly preferred
  • Level I trauma experience preferred
  • Comfort working in NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, adult acute care, and critical care
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work with EPIC and advanced respiratory equipment

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy services across varied inpatient assignments throughout the facility
  • Support adult, pediatric, NICU, PICU, and emergency department patient populations as needed
  • Perform respiratory care procedures and interventions in acute care and critical care settings
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, effective patient care
  • Respond to call requirements as assigned and support oncoming shift coverage
  • Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators, high-flow systems, and noninvasive devices
  • Document accurately in EPIC and maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards
  • Demonstrate adaptability while contributing to a supportive, patient-centered team
