• Schedule: AM shift, 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
• Call / Weekend / Holiday: None required
• Floating: May be required based on volume and operational needs

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of ultrasound technologist or diagnostic medical sonographer experience required
• Experience in breast ultrasound and breast biopsy procedures required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved ultrasound program required
• ARDMS registration required
• BLS certification required
• Breast sonography experience preferred
• Experience with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems preferred
• Previous travel ultrasound experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information ordered by a licensed provider
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients about the ultrasound process and answer questions professionally
• Deliver respectful, non-discriminatory patient care while using sound clinical and ethical judgment
• Maintain continued competence through ongoing learning, continuing education, and specialty credentialing
• Produce diverse imaging across the spectrum of sonography as needed in the radiology department
• Support high-quality breast imaging services in a busy outpatient women’s center
