Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890-$2,030
• Setting: Hospital / Acute Care
• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Center City, 19107)
• Start Date: 9/21/2026
• Duration: 9 to 11 week contract, depending on start date
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Weekend Expectations: Ability to work weekends, ideally every weekend or every other weekend
• Employment Type: Local contract

Registered Respiratory Therapist Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience required
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials
• Active Pennsylvania respiratory therapy license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Hospital, acute care, or inpatient respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently on night shift and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Flexibility to support weekend scheduling needs

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients in a hospital setting
• Assess patient respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other prescribed respiratory treatments
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support quality patient outcomes
• Support respiratory care needs during overnight hours and assist with weekend coverage as needed
