• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 — a dynamic city setting with convenient access to dining, culture, and transit options
• Setting: Hospital-based outpatient clinic / fetal center

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
• Call: No call
• Weekends: No weekends
• Holidays: No holidays
• Float: No float
• Patient Volume: Approximately 8-12 patients per day

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of ultrasound technologist or sonographer experience required; 2+ years preferred in high-risk OB, MFM, or detailed anatomy ultrasound care
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved ultrasound program required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS-OB) required
• State licensure or registration as a diagnostic medical sonographer required
• BLS preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established radiology and maternal-fetal medicine protocols
• Prepare patients appropriately and ensure a smooth, efficient imaging workflow
• Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Support advanced prenatal imaging for high-risk obstetric patients
• Collaborate with obstetric providers, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nurses, and support staff
• Contribute to timely diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment planning for complex pregnancies
• Maintain a professional, compassionate experience for every patient encounter
