Job Details
- Position: Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
- Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
- Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Rotating days with overnight coverage as needed, every other weekend, and occasional holidays; 4x10-hour shifts may also be accommodated
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in radiology, diagnostic imaging, or a hospital-based imaging department
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registered or registry eligible
- Current Massachusetts radiologic technologist license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a patient-focused healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with established radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to promote comfort and cooperation
- Position patients and use immobilization devices as needed to obtain accurate diagnostic imaging
- Review patient history and clinical information to support high-quality diagnostic results
- Maintain complete and accurate imaging records and proper image identification
- Support departmental workflow with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Follow infection control, safety, and departmental policies at all times
- Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and healthcare team members in every interaction
