- Call: On-call required as needed, including one weekday call per week and rotating weekend call
- Floating: May float to EP as needed when Cath Lab / IR volume is low
- Charting System: Epic required
- Orientation: 8 hours
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a STEMI / PCI facility
- ARRT certification required at time of submission
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ohio ODH license required; pending Ohio license may be acceptable, but Michigan license must be in hand
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Must be STEMI-ready and comfortable in a high-acuity cath lab environment
- Experience with IABP and Impella support preferred
- Ability to work in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Ability to provide 2 references from the last 24 months
- Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Support invasive testing and interventions for cardiac, neuro, vascular, and structural heart cases
- Perform and support procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, PCI, catheterizations, angiograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Assist with EKG lead placement, IV starts, and other general patient care tasks as needed
- Provide safe, efficient care in a busy unit with a daily census of 25-30 patients
- Collaborate with the care team to respond quickly in STEMI and urgent cardiac situations
- Support EP procedures when floated based on unit needs and case volume
- Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and readiness for call coverage and scheduling adjustments
