• Setting: Short-term acute care, Level III trauma center

• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Call: Required every 5 days, including weekends
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,710-$2,920

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a specialty setting
• Valid Connecticut radiology license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• ARRT certification required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, patient monitoring, and procedural support
• Experience with cath lab, EP, or interventional radiology procedures preferred
• Ability to support adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, STEMI, and temporary pacer procedures
• Support electrophysiology cases including implants and ablations
• Participate in interventional radiology procedures such as peripheral angiography and vascular interventions
• Prepare equipment, maintain a sterile field, and ensure rooms are procedure-ready
• Monitor patients during procedures and assist with hemodynamic and rhythm monitoring
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality patient care
