Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel assignment
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,600 - $2,790
• Location: New London, CT 06320
• Setting: Short-term acute care hospital; Level III trauma center
• Department: CAT Scan / Computed Tomography
• Shift: 8-hour day, evening, or night shifts based on department needs
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; weekend coverage required every week
• Start Date: 9/8/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• 2 years of hospital CT experience required for submission within the specialty; candidates with 1.5 years may be submitted if they have Level I or travel experience
• Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain both Connecticut and Rhode Island licenses
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment
• Strong Epic documentation skills
• Experience working with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Ability to work every weekend and adapt to variable shift needs

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging across a broad range of exams, including head, chest, abdomen, trauma, vascular, and specialty studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media and support IV access when needed
• Deliver safe, efficient imaging care while following radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Assist with trauma, stroke, ED, ICU, and inpatient imaging needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Use advanced post-processing techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and collaborate with the care team to support timely patient flow
• Float between affiliated sites as needed to help meet operational demands
