MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment strongly preferred
• Registered with the ARRT
• Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an approved two-year Radiology training program

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures to support efficient, high-quality patient care
• Prepare patients for magnetic resonance imaging and provide clear, compassionate instructions throughout the exam
• Operate MRI scanners safely and accurately following department protocols and imaging standards
• Maintain strong image quality and assist with timely diagnosis and treatment
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical care teams to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient experiences
• Adhere to all safety, documentation, and clinical quality standards in the hospital imaging department
