• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Weekends required
• Setting: Hospital respiratory therapy; med/surg and progressive care unit support
• Charting System: Epic
• Floating: May be required between campuses
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Active Ohio state license in hand prior to submission
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
• CRT preferred
• High school diploma plus college diploma or transcripts required
• Previous travel respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Experience with adult critical care and hospital respiratory care strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable with credentialing and fingerprinting requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients
• Support care for patients with COPD, asthma, cancer, and other acute or chronic respiratory conditions
• Perform and assist with therapies including aerosol treatments, oxygen delivery, BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care, and ventilator management
• Interpret ABGs and assist with weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Provide respiratory interventions across med/surg floors and progressive care unit settings
• Work with GE ventilators and preferred Hamilton ventilator systems
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain safe, effective respiratory support
• Float between campuses as needed to meet patient care needs
